Our 100% Canadian hay is a great source of fiber, with slightly higher levels of protein and fat, making it a well-balanced complement to your pet’s diet.
Our hay is made exclusively from first-cut Timothy, ideal for daily feeding and dental health. Here’s how it compares:
1st Cut Hay :
Coarser texture
Longer stems, higher in fiber
Encourages chewing and digestion
Supports natural tooth wear
2nd Cut Hay:
Softer and greener
Finer stems, higher in fat and protein
Less fibrous but more palatable
Second Cut is ideal for diet variation or when your small pet needs something softer and more enticing.

/Super fast and free shipping. This hay is thinner and softer than the 1st cut hay I bought from another brand. I use the 2nd cut hay in the litter box for my guinea pigs. They like to chew and hide in it, so there is less chances the hay poke their eyes. If a mix between 1st and 2nd cut hay was available, with seed heads and less dust, I would try it instead of buying 2 different hays.

JIMMY NEMESIS
Absolutely amazing hay! My bunny is very picky, but he instantly loved the 2nd Cut Timothy Hay from JNP Farms. The hay is fresh, soft, green, and smells great. Since switching to this hay, it has also been much easier on his sensitive stomach and digestion compared to other hay we tried. He eats a lot more of it and wastes much less. The quality is honestly excellent and you can tell it’s well packaged and cared for. Highly recommend for rabbits with digestive sensitivities or picky eaters!
